I think the Firefox 3 stop and refresh buttons leave a little to be desired. The thin arrow and “x” gives the impression of comic sans. Ugh. Hey-O. It bothered me so much that I came up with some alternatives.

The stop button should appear while the page is loading, and the refresh should appear when the page is done. In that case the stop button should morph into the refresh button with a quick and subtle animation.
